Holistic Design

It's so important to think of your home remodel as a complete project, as each element is truly interconnected to each other. So many times I will have clients ask for my opinion on a paint color. It's impossible to just select a paint color without have eyes on all other elements of the home or design. Flooring, countertops, tiles, textiles, concept, natural light and more have to be part of any decision making process if you are to have a cohesive finished product.

characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.
I'm all about a cohesive home. Meaning every room should have a consistent tone and feel. If you have a contemporary great room and kitchen of warm grey tones and clean lines, you don't want to walk into a master bedroom that has green walls with traditional scrolled furniture. I even go as far as wanting the exterior aesthetic to compliment the interior.
A professionally designed home takes hundreds of elements into account, with each one interdependent on the other. Take the time to plan and design your project as a complete entity to achieve a cohesive and holistic design that you will enjoy for years to come.
